How the fund works

One teacher takes the spotlight

Each month we feature one Maryland teacher with a real classroom goal they set themselves on AdoptAClassroom.org.

Every bottle counts

$1 from every single bottle sold that month goes toward their goal. A trio counts as three bottles. No minimums, no fine print.

They hit 100%, everybody wins

When the goal is covered, we make the donation through AdoptAClassroom.org, a 501(c)(3). 100% of it reaches the teacher, and donors get an itemized list of everything purchased.

A new month, a new classroom

Donations for the month cap at the teacher's own goal. That keeps the fund sustainable, so we can do this every single month instead of one grand gesture once. If a month falls short, the teacher still keeps every dollar raised.

Teachers set their own goal, so the target is what their classroom actually needs. Donations are tax-deductible, tracked, and itemized. And because the profile is public, you can verify every campaign we fund yourself.

We pick a new classroom every month, and nominations are how we find them. Nominate yourself or a teacher you love. If you are picked, we will feature your classroom, your goal, and your story to every customer we have.

One requirement: to receive funding, the teacher needs a free AdoptAClassroom.org profile with a classroom goal. That is where every dollar goes, and it is how donations stay tax-deductible and itemized. Setting one up takes about ten minutes at adoptaclassroom.org.
