Refund policy

The Teacher's Promise: love it, or we refund you.

If you do not love your wine, tell us and we will refund your purchase. You keep the wine. There is no return shipping and no hoops. This applies to every bottle we sell, including gift sets and sale items.

HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND
Email us at Contact@tipsyteacher.com within 30 days of delivery and tell us what went wrong. Include your order number if you have it. We do not need photos, and we will not ask you to ship anything back. For safety and legal reasons we cannot accept returned alcohol.

WHEN WILL I SEE THE MONEY?
Refunds go back to your original payment method. Once we approve your refund, expect it to post within 10 business days. Your bank or credit card company may take a few extra days to display it. If more than 15 business days have passed since we confirmed your refund and you still do not see it, email Contact@tipsyteacher.com and we will chase it down.

DAMAGED OR LOST SHIPMENTS
Every order ships insured. If your wine arrives broken or the carrier loses it in transit, contact us and we will send a replacement at no cost to you. A quick photo of a damaged box helps us file the carrier claim, but it is not required for us to make it right.

PACKAGES RETURNED FOR NO SIGNATURE
By law, an adult 21 or older must sign for every wine delivery, and the carrier cannot leave your wine at the door. If all delivery attempts are missed and the package comes back to us, that is not a carrier error and is not covered above. We will always contact you first to confirm the best address and timing. Reshipping a returned order requires a new shipping charge. If you would rather not reship, we will refund the wine, minus the original shipping cost. ORDER CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
Need to change or cancel an order? Email us as soon as you can. If it has not shipped yet, we can usually fix it. Once a package is in the carrier's hands we cannot reroute it, but we can help you work with the carrier.

GIFT CARDS
Gift cards are delivered by email and cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash. They never expire.

WINE CLUB
Love your first club box or your money back. You can swap bottles, skip a season, or cancel your membership anytime after your first box from your account.
